Purdue women's basketball improves to 2-0 on European Tour
Four players reached double figures as the Boilermakers rout Colegio Luso Internacional do Porto by 52 points
Boxscore takeaways from Sunday’s 93-41 victory over Colegio Luso Internacional do Porto (CLIP), the second game on the three-game tour. CLIP featured high school players (ages 16-20) from around the Porto, Portugal area.
• Game 2 starters: Amiyah Reynolds, Destini Lombard, Mahri Petree, McKenna Layden, and Kendall Puryear. It was a different lineup from Game 1. Ella Collier and Lana McCarthy haven’t been in the starting lineup yet.
• Minutes were evenly divided again. Reagan Bass logged a team-high 20 minutes, and Lombard played 19. Every player was on the floor for at least 14 minutes.
• The Boilermakers led 24-7 after one quarter, hitting 10 of 14 shots, and held a 46-20 lead at halftime, thanks to a 19-0 scoring run. Meanwhile, CLIP was 6 of 21 shooting in the first half.
• Sophie Swanson led four players in double figures with 13 points, followed by Rashunda Jones (12), McCarthy (12) and Jayla Smith (11).

• More strong production from the inside game. Puryear, Alaina Harper, Bass, and McCarthy combined for 37 points on 17 of 24 field goals and 34 rebounds. McCarthy had a team-best 13 rebounds, and Bass pulled down 10. In the first game against Time Chamber, Puryear, Harper, and McCarthy combined for 41 points on 16 of 22 shooting.
• Swanson made three 3-pointers after going 0 of 7 in the first game. Jones made all five field goal attempts, including one 3-pointer, as Purdue shot 55.9% for the game and scored 50 points in the paint.
• The overall 3-point shooting struggled for the second straight game. The Boilermakers were 2 of 17 in the opener and made just 4 of 20 on Sunday. Collier is a combined 0 of 6 from beyond the arc but is 5 of 9 from 2-point range.
• Senior Jayla Smith had another solid offensive game, reaching double figures on 5 of 10 shooting. Smith collected eight points on 4 of 8 shooting in the first game.
• Purdue scored 35 points off of 25 turnovers. The Boilermakers had 17 steals, including four each by Lombard and Jones.
