It will always be a make or miss game. Fewer turnovers led to more scoring chances for Purdue. We'll see if this is the beginning of a good stretch or a one-time thing before a good home crowd. The key is do this in front of 3,000 people on the road.

I was pleased with the reduction in turnovers. After the last couple of games, that was a welcome change.

IU's three point shooting was absolutely incredible, and some of those were not good shots. They just kept falling. On the other end, Mary Ashley Stevenson had a lot of good shots go halfway down.

It's never fun to lose to your rival, especially at home, but this felt like one of their best games of the season. If they can keep this up, the victories will come.

Takeaway 4: what a fun atmosphere in the arena! Womenā€™s games are so fun and so cheap...it should be like that every time.

Maybe one day it will become the norm. As Gearlds upgrades the talent pool, the Boilermakers should push through win games like Sunday.

We totally enjoyed the game - it felt like games years ago when the games were always exciting.

I just saw where Ohio State beat Iowa 100-92. We play Ohio State at Mackey next Sunday. If we play hard defense again next week against the buckeyes and our shots fall, this could be our Texas A & M game repeat.

Our rebounding was much improved over that Iowa game. Boxing out can still get better. I like all those opposite looks when passing - they fooled me! I loved how the team came out with the confidence and look of ā€œwe are going to win thisā€.

Close, but not this time.

Fans were still very proud!

Yes, it certainly had an old-time Mackey Arena feel to it on a Sunday afternoon during the Big Ten season. Maybe one of those $1 days from back in the day. That's another game Purdue will have to match Ohio State on offense. If anything, maybe this game injected some confidence into this team on the offensive end.
