Probably 4 more signings to go. The team is lacking skilled Wings and Power Forwards and a dynamic scorer

It was an eye opener for me when I look around the women’s basketball teams that there are so many players from over seas. I always watch teams play in the Olympics but did not realize the popularity of the sports.—But I should have— look at all of the players that go over seas to play— Katie was one of them—If Purdue lands this player— look at the experience that she brings.—- Already playing big league and now could have 4 years here— don’t get any better than that.—If she would come here— she would have a player from her country on Painters team—- that might be a selling point— we will have to see what happens— GO BOILERS !!!

Which is a god send for a program like Purdue that can’t recruit domestic players with the Top 30 teams in the country and struggles to win recruiting battles against the elite WBB programs

Recruiting is the life blood that every team needs— we definitely are not at the top of recruiting but we do all right in my book— a lot of top players have played at Purdue— a lot of Miss Basketballs— do we compete with Conn or South Carolina— maybe not —but Purdue holds their own against most teams— It just happened that this last group didn’t put it together— I like our teams make-up this year— we got bigger and faster and if they put it together —we will be OK. — Finding the player that lives and sleeps basketball and strives to be the best that they can be—- that is the KEY to me when you sign a player.—- And maybe that player is hard to find— but every once in a while you throw a perfect strike and that is what every coach is looking for- GO BOILERS !!
