It's become commonplace to announce games later in the summer. Purdue has the games scheduled; just haven't announced the rest yet. Could be waiting on contracts to be signed by numerous people in the athletic department, not just Purdue, and other factors that hold these things up. Some schools have a rigorous procedures before announcing games.

It seems rather late in the calendar to have only five non-conference games on the slate. What is contributing to this?
