Video interview: Incoming Purdue women's basketball transfer Mahri Petree
Petree, who played at Bradley and UTEP, is set to join coach Katie Gearlds' roster for the 2024-25 season
The Boilermakers have enhanced their roster with some transfer additions heading into the 2024-25 season.
One of those newcomers is Mahri Petree, who comes to Purdue from UTEP. She started her career at Bradley before transferring to the El Paso, Texas school.
She’s the younger sister of Lasha Petree, who played one season for coach Katie Gearlds after transferring from Rutgers. Mahri calls herself a “three-level scorer” and has made strides on the defensive end to develop into a more complete all-around player.
